10″ Band Saws, HBS250/ 250N/ 250NC

10 Inch band saws are favorite wood cutting machines of hobbyists who have required a large cutting capacity on the smallest space for most projects. Due to the hobbyists’ needs, HuaJu Industrial manufactures HBS250, HBS250N & HBS250NC that belong to the 10 Inch band saws series. 

10 Inch band saws HBS series have buckling resistant, solid sheet metal construction. Moreover, the power is delivered via a quiet induction electric motor with a qualified poly-V-belt drive to the bandsaw wheel. Both of the flywheels cast iron with a special rubber coating for a long life span. A good set of blade guides is a  key element to straight and accurate cutting on a bandsaw. 

These 10 Inch band saws have three sealed bearings on the blade guard. Two sealed bearings are mounted side-on to the blade for regulating blade twist and keep it true. Additionally, the rear bearing takes the thrust of the back of the blade enabling it to run freely and stably. Normally, these 10 Inch band saws have two blade guides, so another same setup is then repeated beneath the table.

A tilting cast iron table is adjustable from 0° to 45° and has a positive stop at both of those positions. Any angle can be read from the scale and locked in. A guide fence can be situated on either side of the blade for cutting rip. It can be locked into position with a single press of the lever and also has an obvious marker to set against the metric scale. The fence can be mounted in two ways. The fence is fitted with a small face when cutting thin and narrow strips, against the blade to permit clearance around the guides.

When cutting thicker material the full face height is used. For security reasons, the two doors are fitted with safety micro switches that the motor will cut out when the doors are opened for changing and cleaning when the 10 Inch band saw is in use.
